"New Economy Package became a holiday gift for the world of economy"

TIM Chairman Mehmet Büyükekşi expressed his pleasure of the exporters in his comments he made about the economy package announced today by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım. Büyükekşi emphasized that the new practices made public in the package especially related with exports will generate positive outcomes for industry and export and added the following:

“The packaged announced today by the Prime Minister and the Ministers became a holiday gift for Turkish economy world in the true sense of the word.

A significant part of the announced articles covers the recommendations we have made to the government last year as Turkish Exporters Assembly and exporter unions. We believe that the package, especially Eximbank loans, green passports to exporters and convenience in bank loans, will generate positive outcomes for our industry and export.

The only way for Turkish economy is to grow: more investments, more production, more export, more employment… Exporters' step will be at the side of the government that it takes with this understanding. We believe that we will feel the presence and support of the government by the side of every step we take.

Now, it is the time for support package. We hope the export package we had submitted to the cabinet earlier will be implemented after the holiday”.
