REMOVING THE OBSTACLES IN RUSSIAN CUSTOMS IS CRUCIAL FOR OUR COUNTER TRADE!

Mr. Büyükekşi, who made a speech in “Turkey-Russian Federation Business Forum”, mentioned that our export to Russia increased by %30 in the last four months, whereas our import from Russia also increased by %15 in the same period of time. Mr. Büyükekşi also added that it was expected to have a greater increase in our export to Russia in May.

The Memorandum of Understanding that was signed between Turkey and Russia on 22 May 2017 during the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Forum held in İstanbul is considered a new page in the economic relations of the two countries. Business networks of the mentioned two countries came together in the Turkey-Russian Federation Business Forum, organized by Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM) and took place on 23 May 2017.

Addressing that they are working to bring the Turkish-Russian trade relations to the level that was experienced in the past, Mr. Büyükekşi also emphasized that the problems with visa process, customs entry, high sum insured and deposit values must be avoided for our trade relations to grow stronger.

 

“Now it is the turn of businessmen.”

Consul General of Russian Federation in İstanbul Mr. Podelyshev said “During the last period of time, our Presidents came together for five times. We do not hold meetings with any other leader such often. Now it is the turn of businessmen.”  Mr. Podelyshev, who put an emphasis on the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the two countries, did also call attention to the investment opportunities, provided by Tatarstan.
