TIM CHAIRMAN İSMAİL GÜLLE HAS ASKED SUPPORT FROM AMBASSADORS FOR EXPORTERS: SHOW THE WAY TO EXPORTERS AND WE REACH THE GOAL TOGETHER

Gülle made two requests from the Ambassadors: "We need a platform where information about the current economic and political developments in the countries we export to are transmitted to us. We also experience problems in visa procedures in some countries. We expect support for this problem as well."

Turkish ambassadors from various countries of the world who gathered in Ankara for 10th Ambassadors Conference organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with exporters in a working dinner held by Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) and Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK).

"Turkey's goal is to be among the first 10 economies of the World, so export is our duty" Mr. Gülle said in the dinner, where Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, and Minister of Trade, Ruhsar Pekcan, also were present.

Our performance disturbed some strategic partners

Mr. Gülle said: “Turkey has disturbed some countries. There is an attack to Turkey's economy. We give the necessary answer to this attack nationally. Therefore, as TIM and our Associations, we decided to make Eximbank use all of our funds.”

We will make our factories work more

Mr. Gülle also added: “Instead of applying a “wait-and-see” strategy in this period, the factories said they would work harder. We will look for ways to increase our exports all together. We will do our best to provide “Turkey: Discover the Potential” brand exist in each corner of the world.”

We started a lawsuit process against the USA at WTO

Minister of Trade, Ms. Pekcan, also made a speech at the dinner, and stated that this process brings the transformation with itself, and said that Turkey started the lawsuit process against the USA at WTO.

Finally, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Çavuşoğlu, spoke at the dinner and said that Turkey is ready to talk about everything like an equal partner to solve the problem existing between Turkey and the USA. He also stated that they would focus on the visa liberalisation issue with the EU and also that they agreed with Russia in principle that there will not be a visa applied to Turkish businessmen and especially the truck and lorry drivers.
