TIM Chairman Büyükekşi commented on recent international visits:
“We are telling the world about the successful performance of Turkey”
Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) Chairman Mehmet Büyükekşi commented on recent international visit and said “In the international visits we have made with our Minister we stated that the treacherous coup attempt did not cause any disturbance in Turkish economy and Turkey continues to produce, grow and export”.
Büyükekşi pointed out that they will bring together the ambassadors in Turkey next week and will make assessments and continued to say “As exporters, we will have an opportunity to share directly the developments on and after July 15th with ambassadors”.
Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) Chairman Mehmet Büyükekşi, who indicated that despite all difficulties the country has been through, export keeps its strong progress and said “When we tell our colleagues outside Turkey about the dynamism of Turkish economy, we strongly emphasize our export performance. We tell them that the events on July 15th did not cause any decrease in our exports, conversely our exports started to increase. In the current month of August our exports have a very successful performance. We will announce our figures next week in Giresun. I can tell you in advance that our exports will increase compared to the last year. It is a clear evidence that the stability of our country in production and export continues”.
Büyükekşi said “In addition to the positive developments happening in our exports, we must tell in every channel that the strong progress of Turkish economy continues. As TIM, we are bringing together our exporters with the heads of foreign missions in Turkey. We will be holding our annual meeting where we will bring together the ambassadors in Turkey. This organization is made regularly for the last three years and it coincided with a more meaningful period. As exporters, we will have an opportunity to share directly the developments on and after July 15th with the ambassadors”
TIM Chairman Büyükekşi reminded that they visited Holland and Italy on 23-24 August with the Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci and the representatives of the business world and continued as follows:
“We continue with our visits with our Minister to tell about the events that happened after the treacherous coup attempt on July 15th. In these visits we explained to the ministers of the related countries, their business worlds and members of the media that the treacherous coup attempt did not cause any disturbance in Turkish economy and Turkey continues to produce, grow and export. Our visits to Holland and Italy have been very fruitful and successful in this context. These visits will continue at full speed in the coming days. The month of September will be a very busy month for us in this respect”.
