We have even had months where we have exceeded 90 percent. There is a serious shift in demand for our country. Our pioneering projections show that we are perhaps closer than ever to the goal of 'Türkiye With a Foreign Trade Surplus'. Today, we see once again that the prosperous tomorrows of our country have intersected with the future of our export. We found that about 60 percent of the increase in export was due to the transformation in global supply chains. “We always say: Türkiye will rise with export! We are proud of our contribution to our country's economy. We are grateful to all our export families who have grown the Turkish economy with their production, services, and exports. As Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, said, 'Someone who loves his country the most is the one who does his duty best.' More than 100 thousand of our exporters, with love for their homeland, are fulfilling all their responsibilities by breaking record after record by not leaving a single country that is no steps were taken. We, as ever, continue to produce for this country, to add value to our national wealth and we will continue to fly our flag proudly all over the world.”

The Turkish exporter gained the trust of the whole world by not disrupting production and not disrupting supply chains even during the most difficult periods of the pandemic. First, to our President, who has led our export to reach these days with his vision and who accepts us as companions of his path and destiny; to our Minister of Commerce who always supports us; we sincerely thank all our members of the government for their support to export and exporters. We anticipate that this increase due to the transformation in global supply chains will be long-lasting and permanent.

"There is a serious demand shift for our country"

In addition to the advantages of its geographical location, Türkiye has a relative advantage over competitors in the costs incurred due to the global logistics crisis. Especially due to the continuing energy crisis in Europe, we are in an advantageous position compared to our competitors in energy-intensive sectors such as iron and steel. Because Türkiye stands out from its competitors both with its effective energy infrastructure and the prevalence of renewable energy sources. For this reason, there is a serious demand shift for our country in all sectors, especially energy-intensive sectors. In addition to these gratifying developments, it is possible to increase the export increases and growth figures we have announced today exponentially by introducing new investments, rapidly moving to sustainable production, completing green transformation in the industry as soon as possible, safely expanding digitalization, devoting more resources to innovation, design, technology, and branding."

In the last 12 months, we have exported 221 billion dollars. We have already exceeded our annual export target. We are taking firm steps towards the 2022 target.
