Super League Matches Will Be Held With The Banner 'Our Export Is In The Champions League, The Target Is $250 Billion'

Export Rise to "Super League"

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the only umbrella organization of more than 100,000 exporters, has added another one to its projects to promote export to all segments of the society. TİM collaborated with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and landed on the green fields to reach football fans. As part of the collaboration, the matches, to be played on the home teams' field for the rest of the season in Spor Toto Süper Ligi, will be held with the banner 'Our export is in the Champions League, the target is 250 billion dollars'. The project first started with the Sivasspor-Trabzonspor competition, which was played in the 21st week of the league.

More Exporters, More Export

Providing information about the project, TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle said: "TFF's support for our campaign to increase sensitivity to the export is very important. Export is the most important driving force in Türkiye's growth and development. In 2021, we exported 225 billion dollars, breaking records in a row. We are in the new league now. Just as the most important organization at the club level is the Champions League, we are now in the Champions League in export. Now our goal is 250 billion dollars in export. We are one step closer to reaching our biggest goal, 'Türkiye, which has a foreign trade surplus.' With this project, we have launched an important campaign to bring export culture to all segments of society. Millions of our citizens in our country follow football closely. Our young population, if directed and supported correctly, will be our biggest competitive advantage in sports as in many areas. This high potential, interest, and love for sports, the development of sports in Türkiye, is extremely encouraging in terms of export. We want to turn this potential into more exporters and more export."
