TİM CHAIRMAN GÜLLE: VACCINE PRIORITY WILL REFLECT POSITIVELY ON OUR EXPORT VOLUME

With the initiatives of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), exporters with green passports who fly the Turkish flag all around the world were included in the priority group in the ongoing vaccination program within the scope of the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19). It was started to receive vaccination appointments of exporters with green passports, who were included in the vaccination group.

Stating that they were pleased that the inclusion of exporters with green passports in the priority group in the vaccination program, TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle said, "Our exporters needed to be vaccinated quickly in order not to have problems with their travels. The inclusion of our exporters, who are the field workers of the economy and trade diplomacy of Türkiye, in the vaccination program will also positively affect our export volume. I would like to thank our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Trade Minister Mehmet Muş, and our Health Minister Fahrettin Koca for their support to our export family as always by responding positively to our request."

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the only umbrella organization of 100 thousand exporters with 61 exporter associations and 27 sectors in Türkiye, continues its work at full speed to facilitate the competition of exporters in the international arena. In this context, an important decision was made to contribute to the fast access of the exporter to the markets during the pandemic period and increase Türkiye's export volume with the initiatives of TİM. With the decision taken, exporters, who have green passports, were placed in the priority group in the coronavirus vaccine program. Exporters with green passports started to make vaccination appointments entering the system as of yesterday.

"Our exporter's access to the markets will be easier"

Commenting on the issue, TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle said, "Our export family is in direct contact with many parts of the world. Our exporters, who fly the Turkish flag in 210 countries and regions, are working hard to get our products to the world quickly. While our key markets are launching a vaccination passport application, our access to these markets will be facilitated by the vaccination decision taken. In particular our exporters with green passports needed to be vaccinated quickly in order not to have problems with their travels.
