Exporters Conducted Bilateral Business Meetings in Canada and the USA

Within the framework of trade delegations organized in Toronto and New York, Turkish companies engaged in discussions to establish new business partnerships in the North American market.

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade and the auspices of the Türkiye Exporters' Assembly (TİM), trade delegation programs were held in Toronto and New York from October 27 to 31, aiming to expand foreign trade volume with Canada and the USA, as well as to foster new collaborations for Turkish companies.

Approximately 260 bilateral business meetings

The Toronto program was chaired by TİM Board Member Başaran Bayrak. Comprising representatives from 13 Turkish exporting companies spanning various sectors such as chemicals, textiles, iron and steel, automotive, and construction, the delegation brought together the business communities of Türkiye and Canada. Turkish and Canadian businesspeople conducted nearly 100 bilateral meetings.

The program held in New York was organized by TİM and İTKİB (Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters' Associations). The delegation, led by TİM Vice Chairman Ahmet Güleç, included representatives from 20 Turkish exporting companies in ready-to-wear, leather, and chemical industries. The opening session was also attended by the Ministry of Trade Director General for Exports Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in New York Kemal Yüksektepe, and New York Commercial Attachés Filiz Köseyner, Osman Nuri Gökbulut, and Alper Atilla. During the program, Turkish companies convened with American businesspeople and held more than 160 bilateral business meetings.
