The İGE Guarantee Portal Serves Exporters

A new-generation guarantee application, the 'İGE Guarantee Portal,' which brings exporters and banks together in one place, has been launched.

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, the İhracatı Geliştirme A.Ş. (Export Development Inc. ) (İGE), established in partnership with the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM), the Türk Eximbank, 61 exporter associations, and 20 banks, is launching the 'İGE Guarantee Portal'.

The introduction meeting of the portal, which will facilitate access to the most favorable financing conditions, especially interest rates, for export-oriented SMEs, was held with the participation of TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Tuzcu, and the General Manager of İGE A.Ş., Kasım Akdeniz.

TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe stated during the introduction meeting that İGE A.Ş. quickly filled an important gap by providing guarantee support to exporters who could not take full advantage of credit opportunities. Gültepe pointed out that thousands of exporters in the SME scale have gained access to financing by overcoming collateral difficulties with İGE guarantees, saying, "Through İGE A.Ş., nearly 13,000 guarantee applications have been approved to date. Thus, guarantee applications amounting to 56 billion Turkish Liras have been accepted. Access to finance for our exporters will be further facilitated with the 'İGE Guarantee Portal.'"

Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu emphasized that the 'İGE Guarantee Portal,' developed by İGE, which facilitates access to financing and provides the most favorable financing conditions for exporters, is a highly beneficial implementation for exporters. Tuzcu stated, "Thanks to this portal, exporters from all over our country will be able to submit loan requests to all banks simultaneously and see the financing terms offered by banks at the same time."

Kasım Akdeniz, the General Manager of İhracatı Geliştirme A.Ş. (İGE), also expressed that exporters will be able to reach all banks from a single point through the 'İGE Guarantee Portal.' He also emphasized that this execution not only benefits exporters and but also facilitates customer acquisition for our banks and increases efficiency.
