In the ranking of sectors with the highest exports, the automotive industry maintained its top position with $2.7 billion. It was followed by the chemicals sector with $2.6 billion and the ready-to-wear and apparel sector with $1.7 billion.

The Türkiye Exporters Assembly organized a trade delegation to Lagos, Nigeria from August 20-23. The delegation included representatives from Turkish and Nigerian companies, who held 150 bilateral business meetings during the course of the event.

The seven-month export from January to July reached $148.8 billion, while the 12-month export reached $261.5 billion. Compared to the same period last year, seven-month exports increased by 4.1%, and the last 12-month exports rose by 3.4%.
