Mustafa Gültepe Re-Elected as President of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly for a Second Term
Having once again earned the confidence of the delegates at the 33rd Ordinary General Assembly of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM), Mustafa Gültepe was re-elected as President for a second term. Describing the new term as a “period of acceleration,” Gültepe stated that they would focus on value-added production and the twin transformation in pursuit of the goal of positioning Türkiye among the world's top 10 exporting countries.
The delegates of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) decided to continue under the leadership of Mustafa Gültepe for another term. Running as the sole candidate in the election held during TİM's 33rd Ordinary General Assembly in Istanbul, Gültepe was elected President of the TİM for the second time.
In his speech following the announcement of the results, Mustafa Gültepe thanked the TİM delegates for their trust and support. Emphasizing that the unity and solidarity demonstrated by the export family during such a challenging period was profoundly meaningful, Gültepe continued:
“Despite the challenges at both the global and national levels, we succeeded in increasing both goods and services exports in each of the first four years. During the same period, the projects we implemented also reinforced the foundations of our structural transformation. The next four years will mark a period of acceleration on our journey toward positioning Türkiye among the world's top 10 exporting countries. We recognize that we cannot achieve this objective merely by increasing export volumes. To enhance value-added exports, we will leverage high technology, R&D, innovation, design, branding, and the twin transformation. We will transform the twin transformation into a competitive advantage for our country in the global marketplace. Through the National Export Week, which we will organize annually, we will bring together all stakeholders of the export ecosystem and align Türkiye's production strength with a global vision. To restore our competitiveness, we will work alongside NGOs and contribute to the formulation of economic policies. We will build a congress center worthy of TİM and the export family.”
Mustafa Gültepe concluded by expressing his confidence that, with the existing spirit of unity and solidarity within the export family, they would enjoy a highly productive four-year term.
