Strategic Collaboration between the TİM and DHL Express Türkiye

The Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) and DHL Express Türkiye have signed a cooperation protocol to enable the shipment of export goods to 28 countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East at preferential rates. The agreement, signed by Chairman Mustafa Gültepe and CEO Volkan Demiroğlu, encompasses export routes from Türkiye to selected 28 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, as well as import routes from 12 selected countries in the Americas to Türkiye. In addition to the discounts that DHL Express Türkiye will offer exclusively to members of the Türkiye Exporters' Assembly, the agreement also includes an advisory hotline established to provide information support regarding target markets and countries of interest, logistics, customs, and similar matters.

Up to 61% Discount for Three Months to 28 Countries

In his address at the signing ceremony, Mustafa Gültepe emphasized that export and logistics are inseparable and complementary components. Underscoring that, as important as production and market development are, it is of equal significance to ensure that products reach buyers swiftly, securely, cost-effectively, and with minimal environmental impact, Gültepe continued as follows:

“When we look at the figures in terms of tonnage, we see that our exports, which stood at 99 million tons in 2014, have reached 153 million tons in 2024. This data indicates that our logistics volume has increased by 54% over eleven years. As the Türkiye Exporters Assembly, we have embarked upon the second century of our Republic with the vision and objective of elevating Türkiye into the top ten exporting nations globally. This means the growth in our logistics volume will continue apace. Naturally, the swift, secure, and cost-effective transportation of this volume is of critical importance to our competitiveness. Guided by this reality, we are endeavoring to ease the export processes of our companies by partnering with major actors in the logistics sector. We have thus inaugurated a highly significant collaboration with DHL Express Türkiye. Within the scope of the protocol we have signed, our companies will be able to dispatch export goods to 28 countries—including the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, China, India, and Indonesia—with discounts of up to 61% for a period of three months. This period may be extended. I extend my gratitude, on behalf of myself and all exporters, to Mr. Volkan Demiroğlu and the entire DHL family for this meaningful partnership.”
