The Goal of the “United in E-Export Program” is to Become a Regional Power in E-Export

The “United in E-Export Program,” organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM), and Trendyol, has been successfully completed. The program, which reached more than two thousand exporters across six provinces, provided exporters with comprehensive information on current e-export support mechanisms and emerging market opportunities.

Launched to strengthen Türkiye's e-export ecosystem, the “United in E-Export Program” was conducted through meetings held in six provinces with the participation of eight exporters' associations under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM), and Trendyol. Within the scope of the program, over two thousand exporting companies were thoroughly informed about e-export incentives, application procedures, and strategies for entering global markets.

The “United in E-Export Program” was implemented with the objectives of enhancing companies' export capacities, facilitating access to accurate and up-to-date information regarding support applications, and providing them with the strategic roadmap needed to expand into international markets. During the events, Ministry of Trade officials elaborated on e-export incentives in detail, while Trendyol representatives shared insights into their e-export strategies, marketplace advantages, and operational capabilities.

“We are working to strengthen Türkiye in the field of e-export as well”

TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe expressed the contribution of the “United in E-Export Program” to exporters as follows:

“Of the global e-commerce volume, which has reached 7 trillion dollars, approximately 1.5 trillion dollars derive from e-export. Today, nearly 25 percent of total e-commerce is conducted across borders. With Türkiye's strong infrastructure spanning from design to production and from manufacturing to sales, we are working in coordination with our Ministry of Trade, TİM, and representatives from the private sector to raise awareness among our members, develop new business models, and facilitate market entry, thereby strengthening Türkiye's position in e-export. In this context, we regard our Ministry's target of increasing the share of e-export within total exports to 10 percent by 2030 as a significant milestone. Together with TİM and Trendyol, we have launched the 'E-Export Partnership Program.' Within this framework, we have completed the 'United in E-Export Program' across eight exporters' associations with the participation of more than two thousand members. To enhance export awareness and enable more of our firms to expand into cross-border markets, we will continue organizing events in the upcoming period with the inclusion of other stakeholders within the export community.”

“Our companies can benefit from incentives of up to 70 percent”

Providing details on the incentives offered to companies seeking to grow in the field of e-export, Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Director General of Exports at the Ministry of Trade, stated: “We are taking significant steps to support our SMEs and industrialists in entering digital markets within the rapidly developing global e-export landscape. Through our E-Easy Export Platform, known as E-KİP, we offer our companies an extensive source of information—from market analyses and customer behavior to competitive data and sales channel options—concerning the markets they intend to enter. Furthermore, our companies can receive up to 70 percent support for commission, advertising, and storage expenses related to e-exports conducted via their own websites, marketplaces, or consortia. We continue our efforts with full momentum in line with our goal of increasing the e-export ratio.”
