Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Chairman İsmail Gülle assessed the year 2018, and announced the forecasts and the agenda for 2019. The Chairman said; “In the shadow of a global trade war, we spent a difficult year in 2018.
TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle Evaluated the Export figures in March 2019: “Monthly export records will continue to support our national growth, welfare and employment. As we announced this year will the Year of Sustainability and Reform in our Exports.”
The second of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Delegates Workshop was held in Istanbul. Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan and 450 delegates representing 83 thousand exporters of TİM from different regions of Turkey's attended to workshop.
In June, automotive was the leading sector with $2.5 billion dollars. The sector's exports increased by 1.9% compared to the same month of the previous year. Automotive was followed by chemicals with $1.42 billion, apparel with $1.36 billion.
