Turkish E-Export Delegation Meets Global Giants in Germany
Turkish companies holding meetings in Berlin and Hamburg evaluated cooperation opportunities for the German and European markets.
The Germany E-Export Delegation Program, carried out between 16–20 February 2026 under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade and the organization of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) E-Export Secretariat, was successfully completed through an intensive schedule of engagements in Berlin and Hamburg. Through the meetings conducted, the Turkish e-export delegation aimed to further strengthen the positioning of Turkish products within the European market.
Strategic engagements in Berlin and Hamburg
Led by Hasan Önal, Head of the Department of E-Export Digital Marketing, Behavioral Public Policies and Next-Generation Technologies of the General Directorate of Exports of the Ministry of Trade, the delegation convened with Germany's leading e-commerce platforms, omnichannel retail players, logistics and fulfillment centers, payment system providers, as well as organizations offering localization and compliance services.
Within the scope of the delegation, meetings were held with representatives of Amazon Germany, Otto, About You, Kaufland and Allegro, which are among Europe's prominent marketplaces. During these engagements, platform diversity, data-driven growth models, digital marketing strategies, payment systems, logistics infrastructure, and compliance with European Union legislation were discussed in a comprehensive manner.
Participation in E-commerce Berlin Expo
As part of the program, the delegation also participated in the E-commerce Berlin Expo held in Berlin. Within the scope of the fair, current trends, technological solutions, and emerging business models in the European e-commerce ecosystem were examined on site.
Engagements with global companies
During the bilateral business meetings conducted within the delegation framework, Turkish companies operating across a broad spectrum—from home textiles and baby apparel to software and financial technologies—had the opportunity to establish direct contact with global players.
The program held in Berlin and Hamburg contributed to strengthening the positioning of participating companies in the European market, particularly in Germany, and to fostering the development of long-term business partnerships.
