Turkish Exporters Forge New Partnerships in Mexico
Within the scope of the General Trade Delegation Program held in Mexico City, the Türkiye Exporters' Assembly brought together representatives of Turkish companies with Mexican business leaders. While over 150 bilateral business meetings were conducted during the program, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between TİM and Mexico's leading business organizations.
Organized by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, the General Trade Delegation Program took place in the capital Mexico City from September 1 to 4, with the objective of enhancing the foreign trade volume between Türkiye and Mexico and supporting concrete steps toward business collaboration among companies.
Headed by TİM Board Member Salih Zeki Poyraz, the delegation included companies from the iron, steel, textile, chemical, and HVAC industries, as well as firms engaged in e-export.
Within the framework of the delegation, representatives of 11 Turkish exporting companies convened with Mexican business leaders and held more than 150 bilateral business meetings. These discussions created a significant platform for fostering new partnerships between Turkish companies and Mexico's business community.
In addition, seven e-export companies within the delegation visited nearly 10 firms, including global marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and Liverpool, to explore potential areas of cooperation.
An important step was also taken during the program: a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between TİM and both the National Association of Importers and Exporters of Mexico (ANIERM) and the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade (COMCE).
