Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) held the 12th of the 'Virtual Trade Delegation' programs, which started in May, to reduce the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on exports, with the Philippines. TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle said, “205 exporting companies participated in the virtual delegations we have carried out so far. 617 buyers company attended; close to 1,600 bilateral job interviews were held. In these negotiations, our firms signed contracts worth millions of dollars
Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) continues to work to ensure that women play a more role in the business world and to encourage women entrepreneurs to export, led by TİM Women Council. In this context, TİM started the “Women Export Talks” webinar series that successful businesswomen will share with the participants how they started exporting and their recommendations for the business world. The first seminar was held with the title of “How did we start exporting, how did we succeed?” and with the participation of TİM Women Council Deputy Chairwoman Adalet İnanç and Gündüz Group Executive Deputy Chairwoman Ruken Mızraklı as speakers.
Turkish Exporters Assembly released its September export figures. Türkiye's exports reached 16 billion 13 million dollars in September 2020, the highest September export figure in the history of the Republic. At the same time, the highest export figure was reached for 2020 on monthly basis. While exporting to 207 countries, exports increased to 119 countries. One thousand 676 companies were exported for the first time.
The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced the results of its “Türkiye's first 1000 exporters 2019” survey. According to the research, the total exports of companies in the top 1000 increased by 3 percent compared to the previous year and reached 103 billion dollars. The share of these companies in total exports was 62 percent. 144 companies, which export 5.8 billion dollars in total, were included in the list for the first time, while 856 companies managed to be on the list for two years in a row.
Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) is a first organizing a Virtual Trade Delegation for women exporters to Latin America. Women exporters show great interest in the organization which brings together on the online platform, exporting companies and buyers in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Chile. Expressing that they care about women taking an active role in the export family, TİM President İsmail Gülle said, “We continue our efforts to increase the number of women exporters with the TİM Women Council we established two years ago”. Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced the export figures for August. Türkiye's exports were 12 billion 463 million dollars in August 2020. While 8 sectors reached the highest export in August in its history, exports to 85 countries increased by 516 million dollars. Each sector has managed to export to 14 countries, including Britain, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle said, “Our exporters, even in these difficult conditions, exported at a close level to August of last year. From the global trade point of view, it appears that our country's exports are on a positive course compared to most countries.
We are coming out getting stronger step by step from the storm of the pandemic that surrounds the whole world. Because we believe that; the future is bright; the future is export! Türkiye will continue to be a pioneer in exports and growth also in the new period with its strong investment, production and export infrastructure.”
Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Women Council is accelerating its efforts with the aim of increase the number of women exporters, greater women efficiency in exports and increased awareness of access to support and financing. While TİM Women Council decided to organize a virtual trade delegation with the participation of only women in Latin America, it gave the message to all NGOs and related organizations, “A stronger economy is possible with our women being more active in exports. Together we must join our forces on this issue”

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced the export data for July. Türkiye's exports reached the highest monthly figure in the pandemic process with 15 billion 12 million dollars in July 2020. The rate of increase in July exports compared to last month was 11.5 percent. While 1,641 companies joined the export family, exports to 77 countries reached the highest level since the beginning of the pandemic, and 16 sectors exported the highest monthly exports.
"Furnistry 2020 Virtual Fair", China's first virtual fair was organized in the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce and Turkish Exporters Assembly TİM and with organization of İstanbul Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters Associations, while online open-ing of the "CIFF 2020 International Furniture Fair", the first physical and national participa-tion fair during the pandemic period in China. TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle said, "As the ex-port family, both in the field and in the virtual, we are fighting for rising Türkiye with ex-ports. Turkish exporter has the power to bring the Far East closer, especially with its prod-ucts that create added value in the furniture sector." İstanbul Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters Association President Ahmet Güleç said, "Our performances in June and July show that we will catch about $4 billion this year. Today, we aim to increase the average sales price of 2.8 dollars to 7 dollars per kilograms."
